Yvette Marmen Galliher
Yvette Marmen Galliher was born in Massachusetts on Cape Cod. She was always interested in art as a child. However, painting began later when someone was kind enough to give her a set of oils. Now, painting has become a way of life. Being Art Director of the high school newspaper helped her find ways to pursue art education. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design, St. Petersburg Junior College, and attended classes and various workshops at the Gulf Coast Museum of Art.
Yvette has won many awards and commissions, including twelve paintings exhibited by the National Museum of Art in Tokyo, Japan. Her work can be seen at Studio Encanto in St. Petersburg, Florida, Tampa City Center, Tampa, Florida, Suntan Art Center, St. Petersburg, Florida.
