Joel Cocker
Joel Cocker was born in Tampa, Florida. Joel went on to a magnet high school for visual arts at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts. It was there where Joel studied numerous forms of art and where his knowledge and passion for art grew. After graduating from high school he spent his summer studying Art History and Western Humanities and finished with a two and a half week trip to Europe to explore the arts first hand. He went on to St Petersburg College with a Visual Arts scholarship. There he studied black and white photography, wheel throwing and design just to name a few. Upon completion of his Associates degree with honors, he transferred to Florida State University where he received his Bachelors in Art Education in December of 1999. Joel took on a full time job working for the Frame Station and Gallery in St Petersburg. Joel has since participated in numerous shows and charity events and looks forward to many more to come. His style varies from watercolor mixed media to digital photography to pen and ink renderings. Joel's work can be found in private collections, galleries and bars in the Bay area, Florida and around the country. The Art Pros Curators Dan Rojas, Vesna Anderson, and Denise Rojas |
