Native Floridian Carolina Cleere creates her images through a combination of photography and painting, assembling each piece from a vast personal collection of photographs, doll heads, bones, frozen birds, and other eclectica. If she doesn't have it she'll find it or make it. Her unique style evolved out of a process of strengths and weaknesses. She has been a featured artist in Photo District News and Foto8. She lives in a 100-year-old cigar factory surrounded by her paints, props and sketchbooks. This environment enables her to constantly experiment with the process of creating therefore blurring the line between work, art, and life.
