William Talenti

William Talenti has gained recognition in Tampa, Florida, where he has participated in over twenty solo, group, and online exhibitions, including: TECO Plaza, the Performing Arts Center, the Tampa City Center, and the Tampa International Airport. He teaches: painting, sculpture, photography, and digital imaging at Lockhart Elementary Magnet School of the Arts.

In 1999, after studying abroad in Rome, Italy, he obtained a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA.

Talenti experiments with many different technical approaches to painting, as he addresses visual and metaphorical simultaneity through the role of sacred imagery that is fragmented yet imbued with complicated social spaces, allowing didactic interpretation for the viewer.

Recently, William Talenti has been creating large-scale, murals as well as commissioned paintings for private collectors. Soon, he plans to bring art to the local community with his students on a series of hands-on field trips to senior residencies, hospitals, and veteran centers.
