Renee Taylor
Graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in MIS and a self-taught artist, Renee has always been inclined toward the artistic side of life. The youngest of eight sisters and considered "the creative one" in her family, it seemed only natural for her to finally become a part of the art world she so admired.
Since late summer of 2004, she has participated in over a dozen local art shows and exhibits. Her two most recent shows were "The Miracle Flower: A Tribute to Georgia O'Keeffe" and Gala Corina's "Nueva Vida."
Her current work takes you into two worlds; that of photography and computerization. Each piece starts out as a photograph and is then enhanced by the computer. Acrylic paint is later applied to give each image depth and texture.
