Marc Levasseur

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Marc called Atlanta home for 20 years while working for Sony Electronics. It was on a whim his wife signed him up for art lessons and found he had a talent and later a passion for painting.

Married with two daughters, Marc now lives in St. Petersburg Florida where his art has taken hold. Known for his wild roosters and dark crows his work continues to evolve around intensely bright colors, loose brush strokes and whimsical themes. Working mainly in acrylics, Marc captures the essence and vitality of his subject matter. He has also been known to produce excellent pieces in pastel and even mixed media.
