Vesna Vojnovic Anderson is a professor of World Literature, teacher of English and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from East Carolina University. She uses predominately oil and acrylic in her paintings and in some of her murals. Other large wall compositions are done in high relief ceramic tile or a combination of glass fused to clay. Her larger sculptural works brought her the attention of Clearwater TV as The Artist of the Month, while one of her small ceramic works was accepted as an ornament for The White House Christmas tree.
Vesna V. Anderson has exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, and Canada, as well as cities in Florida. She has displayed in 12 solo exhibits and participated in numerous group shows. Her works have received many awards in competitions and the attention of art critics in the press, and can be found in museums, public institutions and private collections.
Pool Scenes have received four awards, an invitational to a group figurative show in The Art League of Manatee County and the attention of St. Petersburg Times.
