Francesco Kroslak was born on February 19, 1974 in Arkon, Ohio. The son of European immigrants, he has long witnessed the control and precision of his father’s art; a carefully measured style influenced heavily by a practiced exactness needed to survive life under communist rule and subsequent years in refugee camps. In sharp contrast, Fransesco’s work reflects a fierce freedom, an unwillingness to be confined. It is truly visceral and deeply emotional. Painting in a small studio, with little space and little visual affect, Fransesco is subject to an indescribable muse.
