Erik was born on February 8, 1979 in rural Ohio and moved to the Tampa area at age 3. From the beginning, Erik has always felt that he was meant to do something great; proclaiming this as early as age 8. He would say that he didn't know what he was supposed to do, but deep down he knew it was going to be something of great significance.

Growing up, Erik always did well in school and was in the gifted program; excelling in mathematics and sciences. Sports were also a major part of his life and he felt that maybe he was supposed to be a major league baseball player or professional golfer. As his life progressed, however, these dreams started to become only superficially appealing. He began to feel that he needed to help the world somehow, but he didn't know how he was supposed to or in what capacity. Searching for answers and his purpose in life, Erik started to become more spiritually-minded. Then on September 11, 2001 a great tragedy was dealt upon us. The events of 9-11-01 had a profound impact on Erik's life; forcing him to deal with his own mortality. Becoming even more spiritual, Erik dedicated his life to serving God in any way that he could; still not knowing what that would be. The thought of being an artist and philosopher never crossed his mind. Then, one night, he had a dream in which he was painting. It was a very vivid dream in which he learned how to paint and remembered when he woke up. The next day, he went and bought supplies and started painting like he'd been doing it for years. As the creative energy started to flow, he became connected to the creative source and was enlightened in every aspect of existence. He was now reborn into a life of service to the world; living to help others and spreading a message of peace and harmony that he felt God needed him to spread because of the sick and horrid things that are happening in the world today. He feels that we need to fight evil in the world by doing as much good as we possibly can, in any form that we can. Erik says that when God lives in us and through us, we are doing our part to help the world and we are realizing our true potential.
