WILLIAM YORK William York, born in 1971 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Inspired by artists such as William Bouguereau, Salvador Dali and the Pre-Raphaelites, William has focused his talents on celebrating the human form. His works also reflect the many classic masterpieces he has witnessed in his travels throughout Europe's many museums and cathedrals. "My goal as a painter is simply to create art that conveys the spiritual beauty of humanity." William York views his artistic abilities as a divine gift. He respects the spirituality of all faiths and feels it should be upheld in all areas of our lives. His works are meant to evoke introspection and bring spiritual awareness out of the dark. York's journey has exposed him to various belief systems as well the traditional techniques of the old masters.
