Ligia Bello, brings to us from her heart an array of colors, that with its vibrancy and strength, express reality of a Latin woman. Her different creative cycles show a concentration towards a definition of the Woman as a unique being, which its also a protagonist in the constant drama of Humanity...
Her goal is to portray on her canvas with acrylics and collages our realities, our loves, and our hopes from her perspective of a Latin woman. Like every real artist her evolution is continuous, with achievements and failures. But, always honest in her quest of works, that are both strong and renovating. Ligia says about her paintings: "My images are abstracts forms, but they come from a source, that is visible and recognizable. They can function in a positive or negative way, offering and transmitting opposing forms and feelings that, the viewer can or cannot appreciate and assimilate."
